So, I’ve started a fun journey with my reliable 2011 Grand Cherokee. When I checked it, I got the PO6DD code, and my check engine light has been blinking at me for a day now. Quite a welcome!
Now, here’s the issue: I have a fancy scan tool that’s supposed to give me all the answers. But I feel like a knight with a shiny sword who isn’t sure which problem to tackle first. Should I replace the entire oil filter housing or just the sensor? Tough decisions…
I inspected around the car, and there don’t seem to be any oil leaks visible. But the problem might be deep inside the engine, so who knows?
Oil levels are stable, like a calm sea before a storm. Now I’m thinking, should I go ahead and replace everything? And if I do, which replacement parts should I choose? The original OEM ones? The reliable Dorman brand? Or maybe take a risk with cheaper aftermarket options?
Helpful folks of the forum, please advise this confused Jeep owner! Which way should I go?
