Signs of wore out spark plugs?

I have got a little over 105000 miles so I probably need them. What are the signs that you need them though?

At 105,000 miles, your brake pads are likely nearing the end of their lifespan. Although you might be able to go slightly beyond that mileage, it’s crucial to keep a close watch for signs of wear.

Indicators That Your Brake Pads Need Replacement:

  • Squealing or Screeching Noises: These sounds are often the first indication that your brake pads are worn.
  • Grinding Noises: A harsh grinding noise suggests severe wear and potential damage to the brake rotors.
  • Increased Stopping Distance: If your vehicle takes longer to stop than usual, it may be time to replace the brake pads.
  • Brake Warning Light: Some vehicles have a brake pad wear indicator light that illuminates when the pads are low.
  • Visible Wear: If you can inspect your brake pads, check for a thickness of less than 1/4 inch.

If you notice any of these signs, it’s important to have your brakes inspected by a professional as soon as possible. Ignoring worn brake pads can lead to more significant and costly repairs.

You won’t ever need to ask that question if you change them on a regular basis. It is likely in need of coils due to neglect and is far past time if you are experiencing misfires or harsh operation. Just doing plugs at the appropriate time is far less expensive.

  • Rough engine idle: The car shakes when not moving.
  • Difficulty starting: The engine struggles to turn over.
  • Engine misfires: engine skips or hesitates.
  • Decreased power: Car feels slower.
  • Increased fuel consumption: using more gas than usual.
  • Hesitation when accelerating: The car doesn’t respond quickly.
