I’m looking for a new SUV and the Jeep Grand Cherokee has caught my eye. I’ve been reading up on its specs, but I’m particularly interested in its 0-60 performance. I’ve heard mixed reviews about its acceleration and I’m curious about how it feels in everyday driving scenarios. Can anyone who owns or has driven one share their experience with the Grand Cherokee’s acceleration, especially in terms of merging onto highways or passing on country roads?

The 4xe, which is reviewed individually, it is the fastest Grand Cheroke, it accelerates to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds and hits a quarter-mile at 100 mph in 13.9 seconds. A Summit test car with a V-6 engine ran a reasonable 7.4 seconds to 60 mph on our test track.
