I’m not really into the color of my Jeep. Has anyone stripped the paint off theirs? Got any pics of what the raw metal looks like? Is it just silver, or am I missing something? I haven’t seen anyone else do it, so I’m wondering if there’s a reason why?

If you strip it down to bare metal, it’s going to rust. It’ll be silver for a bit, but then it’ll turn brown. You might not like what happens next.
Check out bleepinJeep on YouTube. They stripped a project Jag and put some coating on it. It was a lot of work, but you can see for yourself. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YBXZBp89-Ww
Just get a wrap.

Totally agree with this. Unless you want to take the whole Jeep apart and do it right, stripping it will just give you a headache later. A wrap will save you trouble.
I think the green looks good though.
Have you tried Plastidip?

Plastidip’s fun, but I think Wranglers don’t have enough curves for it to really pop. The fancy colors don’t stand out as much. But if you go for a solid matte or satin, it’s a great choice. I think my hood and grill are still stock paint, but they’re under a bunch of flat black Plastidip for extra protection.
A wrap is cheaper, but if you’re planning on off-roading a lot, you could go for rhino lining the whole Jeep. That way, you won’t have to worry about scratching the paint.

Rhino lining’s fine, but the touchups stick out like a sore thumb. Plus, it’s never really clean, and depending on how it’s done, it might not feel great to the touch.
Actual raw metal will look bad, especially with all the seams and body filler. The pros usually paint a metallic base, then do a top coat, and add a patina to give it that raw look.
