Anyone know about this aftermarket battery setup... what's it for?

I recently got a 2021 Rubicon and it came with this aftermarket battery setup. There’s some extra wiring, and I’m not sure what it’s all for. Anyone know the purpose of this setup?

Genesis kit. It’s mainly there to isolate the accessory battery from the starting battery, so your starting battery doesn’t get drained. The newer ones have a cover for all the wiring but it’s still a solid choice for battery isolators. They use Group 25 batteries, I think? You can check their website to confirm.

Congrats on the upgrade! Download the manual from Genesis, it will help you avoid issues with the accessory battery.

Looks like a Gen1 Genesis battery kit with a Fire River battery. The Gen3 version has a cover, but this is one of the best isolator systems on the market.

Just carry a jump pack as backup, that’s always helpful.

That looks like a solenoid for an air compressor. Try flipping the auxiliary switches and see if something powers on. I assume you can’t trace the wires?
