I just grabbed an Apex Badlands 12k synthetic winch for $390. The deal is on Harbor Freight’s website and in-store today only. Thought I’d share in case anyone’s interested.

If you’ve got a 2-door Jeep, the 9k winch is plenty. No need for a 12k.

9k works fine for most 4-door Jeeps too in normal situations.

I’ve been using my 9k for years. Never failed me once, even in tough spots.

I missed that sale! I’m good on tools for now, but I’ve been wanting a set of those angled head wrenches.
I got an Apex winch last year. Can’t imagine off-roading without one now. I don’t know how I managed before.

Man, I was at the store earlier today (45-minute drive) and didn’t know about the sale. Saw this post, went back, and now I’ve got the same winch as you. Thanks for making me spend my money in the best way possible!
That’s a big winch for a Jeep. Not sure if a 12k would fit mine… probably depends on the bumper.
Picked up a 12k for my Liberty. Feels overkill, but I love it!
