Anyone else interested in all-wheel steering?

Has anyone tried out all-wheel steering on their off-road vehicles? Curious if it’s worth it for everyday use too, or just for the trails.

I’ve seen a few people with 4-wheel steering when out wheeling, and I get jealous every time. Usually, they’re in rigs with 40-inch tires and heavy-duty axles, though. It’s inspiring, but I’m wondering if I could do it while still using my Jeep as a daily driver.

They’ve got it set up for crab steer in this setup.

What’s WLORW mean? I’ve seen it around here but not sure.

Looks cool, but I don’t think that’s a Jeep. Looks more like a Dodge M37 to me.

Actually, that’s a Chevy G506 from the look of the cab and the fact it’s a 4x4. If it were a 6x6, then it’d be a GMC CCKW.

Pretty sure this is the same truck they use as The Wrecker on Matt’s Offroad Recovery.

Normally, the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction of the front wheels for better control.

Yeah, it all depends on what kind of maneuvering you’re trying to do.
