My Jeep jerks violently when driving between 40-60 mph, often causing it to shut down or forcing me to turn off the ignition. After restarting, it may run smoothly for another 40-60 miles. This issue is unpredictable and doesn’t always happen while driving. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like your engine might not be getting enough fuel. Have you adjusted the carburetor to match your surroundings?
