In 2018, I got a 2017 car. It’s almost time for the first oil change. The manufacturer recommends 0-20w oil, but the lowest I can find here in Korea is 5-20w. Should I bother trying to get the right oil shipped to me, even though it’s difficult because of shipping rules? Or is the 5-20w oil okay to use?
If it’s challenging to get 0W-20 oil in Korea, 5W-20 can be used temporarily. Just ensure to switch back to 0W-20 when it’s available.
