Hey guys, so I’ve been wondering, you know, about resetting the ECM on my Jeep. Like, what’s the deal with it? What’s the best and correct way to do it? Anyone got any insights or experiences they can share?

Hey Unclewaffl3s! To reset the ECM on your Jeep, just disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 15 minutes, then reconnect it. Start your Jeep and let it idle for a few minutes. That’s it!

Disconnect the battery cables, drain residual power by holding the brake pedal for 30 seconds, wait 15-30 minutes, then reconnect the battery.
