My jeep has the error code PO113 - IAT circuit high input. Can someone explain what this means and what needs to be replaced? I need to fix the emissions on my jeep as soon as possible. My registration expired in November.

From what I understand, you can begin by checking the IAT sensor itself. If it’s faulty, replacing it will likely resolve the issue. Inspect the wiring harness and connectors for any signs of damage or corrosion, and repair or replace them as needed. If additional diagnostics confirm no problems with the sensor or wiring, you may need to further investigate the ECM/PCM.

I always make sure to plug it in. If it’s the case, then go ahead and replace it. I can only obtain that code if it’s disconnected or if it’s faulty.
The P0113 code in Jeep vehicles indicates an issue with the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Input .
