Wsp…I’m finally ready to join the Jeep family! I’ve been wanting one for a while and decided it’s time to pull the trigger. I found a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X, 4-door, with a 6-speed manual and a 3.8L V6 engine. It has 60,000 miles on it, which seems pretty low for the age.
I took it for a test drive, and it drove really well—no rust, and it seems to have been well maintained. The seller is asking $14,000 for it. The only thing that gives me pause is that it’s been in a minor accident according to the Carfax report, but the airbags didn’t deploy, and the damage looked like it was just cosmetic when I checked it out in person.
My plan is to use it as my daily driver for a couple of years and then transition it into more of a fun off-road vehicle. I originally wanted a 2-door, but I haven’t come across anything with as low miles as this one for a similar price.
Do you guys think $14,000 is fair for this Wrangler? Should I hold out for a 2-door, or should I jump on this deal?
