had a radiator cap leak causing coolant to spill. Even with a new cap, it leaks. When I turn off the Jeep while it is hot, oil occasionally seeps out of the cap really badly. What is happening?

Hi, Leaking from the radiator cap could be due to several reasons: worn-out cap seal, excessive pressure in the cooling system, or a faulty radiator cap itself.
A leaking radiator cap is typically caused by normal wear and tear. However, it’s sometimes caused by a damaged radiator hose that causes a vacuum effect. Don’t drive with a leaking radiator cap, even when your vehicle still runs.
I believe that the plastic piece where the cap goes into may be experiencing some issues. I feel like I can be easily replaced. And don’t forget about the cap.
