That was the goal
Nice Jeep! I will always and forever love the 2dr. I just got a 2dr Willy’s this year after a long hiatus since I last had a 2005 2dr rubicon.

2 door and manual is the way to go!
@Vesper
Yep, 2 door manual. I also prefer the TJ (had 2) but thinking of something newer.
Those tires are beautiful I still only have stock 33s for now

I was stuck with them for a while too, figured once I started sliding in the rain it was time to get new ones😂
@Vesper
Yeah that what my plan is too. The tires are new so I might as well get my use out of them and upgrade when the time comes
How’d the ko2s do? I just got some mounted and haven’t had the chance to test them in snow yet. Nice jeep btw, love the 2 door.

Did great on the trail and driving through this field, they honestly did better off road than they did on the road. Drove to work yesterday morning and the roads weren’t plowed yet, slid a few times going down a hill and up a mountain.
@Vesper
Interesting, I haven’t had any problems on road yet, even through sleet and rain. I’ve heard they do better in dry snow than wet, hopefully I’ll get to test them this weekend.
Don’t roll it

Shhhhh
I love playing in the snow
How does it do in deep slushy snow on steep hills, with big ruts? Also, icy rocks,? This snow looks pretty flat and hard packed.

I haven’t driven it much in any slushy snow off the road, but I drove over a mountain going to work and slid in some slush going up. It wasn’t like it really struggled though, just some counter steering and I kept going. There were some pretty big ruts in the field from the pics, we let people come farm it so there’s ruts from the plow. It did just fine driving over them, but this snow was really dry, pretty much just a powder. Haven’t encountered any icy rocks though.
