First time Jeep owner… any advice?

Picked up a 2014 Wrangler Sahara just after Christmas. It had some heater core issues at first, but they seem to have cleared up now. I’m planning to flush the system this spring to clear out any leftover debris since I’m pretty sure it was just a clog. The previous owner replaced the radiator less than 20k miles ago—my insurance records confirmed that. Other than that, anything I should keep an eye on?

Gotta love the classic 2-door look!

Congrats on getting the Wrangler! It’s a solid choice. :+1:

Welcome to the Jeep family! Jeep wave incoming :blue_car::dash:

Nice ride! I’ve got a 2014 Willys myself. I’m dealing with a check engine light for camshaft bank #1 right now—everything checks out fine, but it still triggers sometimes. My mechanic mentioned it might be something as big as a timing chain, so I’m sticking to frequent oil changes and being extra careful with maintenance. Mine’s at 81k miles (3.6L engine). Aside from that, I love it and wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Your Jeep looks awesome! I’d recommend adding a front bumper with a winch and some lights. A leveling kit and a good set of tires made mine perfect without going overboard.
