Bought a 2013 JKU with 135k miles for 10k… what do you think?

You might want to get the underside sprayed for rust protection, especially if you live somewhere with snowy winters. Salt on the roads can be brutal, but one good spray can help a lot. They’ll try to sell you on yearly resprays, but those aren’t always necessary unless your car’s in really harsh conditions.

Also, consider running some fuel system cleaner or sea foam. My mechanic does it every oil change for his fuel.

I’d also recommend doing a full fluid replacement. Check if the 100k and 120k mile services were done, and when. Fluids like transmission fluid can get neglected, so it’s worth checking the schedule.

@Robin
Good advice. I’m planning on doing a full fluid change. Luckily, I’m in South Florida, so rust isn’t really an issue here.

I’m picking up a 2018 with 88k miles on Saturday. Paid 23k for it. Feels a bit high, but it’s the cheapest one I found near me. It has a few mods too.

I hear you. I think I lucked out with my deal. The seller originally wanted 11k. These Wranglers really hold their value.

Just snagged a 2017 JKU Rubicon with 40k miles for 25k. Took me forever to find something I could pay cash for. It’s wild how people want 20k for a 2013 Sport with 150k miles.

Wow, that’s a steal. Congrats on the great deal!
