Here’s one my friend found with a functional 4X4 and a small carburetor problem: https://imgur.com/a/rJ643. Its 2.8 V6 engine is said to be a terrible engine based on what I’ve seen in various forums. 87 had a high output of 4.0. Does anyone know how horrible it is?

That V6 isn’t fit for a car, much less a lawnmower. They lack strength and dependability. To make it dependable enough to be used off-road, you would essentially need to replace the engine. Furthermore, minor problems with carburetors typically never go away and require a complete repair or replacement.
I would look for one that had a perfect six.

That V6 has no place in a lawn tractor, let alone a car. They are unstable and underpowered. To make it trustworthy enough for off-road use, you’d almost certainly need to replace out the engine.
