Anyone else kinda regret getting the 4-door Wrangler?

Just upgraded from a 2-door to a 4-door 2024 Wrangler. I love the extra space and the safety features, but the driving experience feels so different… honestly missing the feel of my old 2-door. Anyone else feel the same way after switching?

The 2-door is definitely more fun, but the 4-door is practical. That’s why you see so many on the road.

Yeah, way more practical. Just wondering if other 2-door folks felt the same way after upgrading.

@Halston
I actually went from a 4-door to a 2-door. Zero regrets.

Don’t have either now, but when I had a 4-door, I missed my 2-door a lot. Had to go with the 4-door because of my kid, but she’s getting old enough now that she’d probably love climbing into a 2-door. My wife and I both want our own 2-doors someday… She’s a fan of Tuscadero, and I’m all about Bikini. Unless they bring back a cool purple, of course.

@Hal
Good to know I’m not alone! Did you eventually get used to the 4-door drive? Hoping I’ll adjust soon.

And for colors, I’m all about black… the darker, the better :joy:

Yeah, I got used to it. Upgrading the tires helped too. After a while, the 4-door doesn’t feel as big as it seems at first.

Had a 4-door when my kids were younger, but now it’s mostly just me and sometimes my wife. Back to a 2-door :smile:

Been a 2-door Jeep guy for over 20 years. Traded my old TJ for a JKU, which my wife ended up using. And yeah, I totally miss the 2-door. Crossing my fingers prices drop enough in December so I can grab a JL for myself. To me, a true Jeep is a 2-door! Had a 50s Willys, 78 CJ, 97 TJ… now driving a Cherokee and a JKU. Jeep life forever :v:

No one’s taking my 2-door from me! It’s way too much fun to drive.

I’ve got an 83 CJ and also bought an 18 JK. Took me two months to find a red, 2-door manual with manual windows. As soon as the warranty was up, I turned off the stabilitrack and went all-in on mods. Can take it just about anywhere a side-by-side can go. Test drove a 4-door once, didn’t even feel like a Jeep to me.

Our family has a 2-door Sahara, a 2-door Sport, and a 4-door Rubicon. Hands down, the 2-doors are way more fun.

I’m actually considering switching to a Gladiator.

That’ll be a big change for sure!
