2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee lift kit

I just got a really cool 2000 Grand Cherokee V8 limited. It’s the best car I’ve ever had! Now, I’m thinking about lifting it with a 4" lift kit, and I’m checking out the Zone 4" lift kit. I could use some advice on whether it’s a good idea or not. I’ll use the car every day, but I also want to take it off-road sometimes on weekends. Any tips or suggestions would be awesome! Thanks!

Firstly, lifting your vehicle will impact its handling and stability, especially during everyday driving. The higher center of gravity may lead to increased body roll and a slightly rougher ride. Additionally, lifting your vehicle may affect its warranty, insurance premiums, and possibly even its resale value. Just so you note.

Considering you’ll be using the car every day, it’s important to weigh these potential drawbacks against the benefits of off-road performance and aesthetics. If you’re primarily using it for commuting or city driving, a 4" lift may be more than you need, and a smaller lift kit might suffice to maintain a good balance between on-road comfort and off-road capability.
